Greetings Dealey Community!
"Geese always support each other. When a goose gets injured two birds always accompany it down to the ground. Just as geese do, we must support each other." -Emma Hayes
One of our key ingredients to success is in how we support each other. Last week, I was driving down the highway and saw a sign on an 18 wheeler truck. It stated "Our most precious resource is 63 feet ahead". As I drove around, there was an arrow pointing to the truck driver stating "Our most precious resource". It made me reflect on how every member of our Dealey community is our "most precious resource" as well. You are driving your student and families throughout the journey here at Dealey. Thank you for your efforts that positively impact our students & community everyday.
The wisdom of the geese video further emphasizes the importance of the part contributing to the whole. This week, as a community we will continue to contribute & support each other. We know that the last quarter and all of it's activities can cause higher stress levels for our students. It will be important for us to encourage them to take care of themselves, rotate student leadership roles, and look out for each other. The most valuable resource here at Dealey is you!
Have a great week!
