Principal's Message
Hello,
We are pleased to share that your studentβs first Progress Report is now available in the Parent Portal. We encourage you to review the report with your student, celebrate their accomplishments, and discuss any areas where additional support may be helpful. If you have questions or concerns about your studentβs grades, please don't hesitate to contact your studentβs teacher. We are committed to partnering with you to support your child's growth and learning. Directions for accessing grades in the Parent Portal are on page 24 of the Grading and Reporting Handbook.
Student IDs
Starting January 8th, weβre asking all students to carry their student IDs with them at all times during the school day. Starting second semester, students will also be required to present their student IDs to enter sporting events and school dances.
Students carrying IDs allows us to:
Verify the identities of students who attend extracurricular events to improve safety at those events
Quickly confirm identities of school-aged people during the day in emergencies
Process checkouts and check-ins quicker and more accurately via ID scan
Students can carry their IDs anywhere convenient for them except in their phone cases. We will also have lanyards available for pickup when IDs are distributed in October.
We will issue all students' IDs free of charge. Replacement IDs will cost $5.
Sincerely,
Duane Sprull, Ed.D.

Fees for your studentβs AP & IB exams are now added to the Infinite Campus parent portal and are due no later than October 23, 2026. Students will be assessed a late fee for payments submitted after November 1, 2026. The late fee is $40 per test for AP & IB. We strongly encourage you to pay these fees online through the parent portal, but if you need to pay by check, please see Ms. Karina Green at DHS. LATE AP & IB EXAM REGISTRATIONS/PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER DECEMBER 15, 2026. Please complete the linked form for assistance with AP/IB exam fees.
All AP students must sign up for the AP Classroom whether they are taking the test or not. Students must self-register for their exams, the coordinator or course teacher cannot register students for exams.
