Dear Bobcat Community,

Happy October! As autumn officially arrives, our school calendar is quickly filling up with wonderful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate as a community.

Next week is an important one for us as we host Parent-Teacher Conferences from October 5th through October 9th. These meetings are such a valuable chance for us to reflect together on your student’s growth and map out a path for a successful year ahead. As you plan your visit, our Specials team—Art, Music, and PE—will be hosting drop-in, open-house style conferences Monday through Thursday mornings from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. If this time does not work for you and your family, please reach out to them directly to schedule a time to meet. We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible PACCT team for organizing meals for our staff during this busy week. Community & School Events

• Fire Safety Trailer (Oct 6–7): The Larkspur Fire Protection District safety trailer will be parked at Larkspur Elementary from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Students and families are welcome to check it out!

• PACCT Meeting (Oct 7): Join us for our next PACCT meeting on Wednesday, Oct 7 at 4:00 PM in person at Larkspur Elementary. Child supervision is provided!

• Save the Date — Beastly Bash (Oct 24): Get your costumes ready! The Beastly Bash will take place at Larkspur Community Park on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Be sure to check out the links below for wristband presales, trunk-or-treat sign-ups, and volunteer opportunities.

Finally, a quick reminder that Fall Break will be October 12th through 16th, giving our students and staff a well-deserved opportunity to recharge.

We invite you to drop by for open-house style conferences with our wonderful Specials team (Art, Music, and PE)! If you're unable to make these hours, please contact our team—we are happy to arrange a time that works for you.

It's never too late to join PINEclub, PACCT's free youth program - with activities on your own schedule to get to know our community better! Register now to get your log book (and sticker!!). Our October partner is the Larkspur Fire Protection District and there are several opportunities to earn your fire safety pinecone:

• The fire safety trailer is coming to town and it will be parked at Larkspur Elementary 10/6-10/7, 11:30am-1pm both days. The public is welcome!

• LFPD Open House! Saturday October 10, 9am - 2pm at Station 161

Mark your calendars and get your costumes ready! Beastly Bash, 11am-2pm on Saturday October 24 at The Larkspur Community Park!

• Trunk sign-up - businesses welcome to advertise at your trunk! Email us if you’re interested in sponsoring the Bash!

• Prize-drive is LIVE!! Looking to clear some clutter? You can drop off gently-loved stuffies and small toys at Larkspur Elementary or Larkspur Town Hall, they will be given out as prizes for the Beastly Bash games.

• Wristband purchase available Oct. 1! ($5 per person, $15 for early-bird family 4pk, Free for ages 3 & under)

• Volunteer and Bake Sale Signup (volunteers will receive a discount code for a free wristband!)

Holiday Bazaar Vendor Applications go out tomorrow! Booths are first-come, first-serve and spaces are limited, so submit your application as soon as possible!
