Mini Wild Dog Races
Each year the Har-Ber Cross Country team puts on a series of Cross Country races for elementary students. The races are on 3 different Wednesdays (9/23 @ Har-Ber, 10/14 @ Sonora Middle School & 10/21 @ George Junior High). Races begin at 4:15 and there is a rolling start for each grade level band. The races are divided into multiple divisions this year: K-1 (1ā2 mile), 2-3 (1ā2 mile), and 4-5 (1 mile).
Parents are responsible to sign up, pay a total of $5 for all the races, and provide transportation and supervision for the races. Money can be used on the link in the sign up or send $5 to the office. If you send money to the office please mark it clearly- who is student and what is money for.
For those students in our cross country running club- we strongly encourage you to sign up for the race part. Students have lots of FUN and they can practice what they have been doing during run club. Please complete the form and sign up today! Students will have their shirts by the first race.
Note: Running club registration has closed, but these races can be for students that are in running club OR not in running club.

Therapy Dog
Ms. Baker, our Speech Pathologist, has a trained therapy dog who will be on campus. While her speech students will receive a separate de-permission form, other students may occasionally interact with the dogāfor example, for comfort on a difficult day or simply while the dog is visiting areas of the school.
If you do not want your child to have direct contact with the therapy dog, please reply to this newsletter or call the school office to let us know.
