Mrs. Dickman is described as someone who moves mountains and removes barriers to help her students and families achieve success in a supportive and collaborative manner. She is warm and welcoming to new employees and is a calming presence amongst staff. Mrs. Dickman has touched so many hearts at Shepherd Elementary.

Please be sure that your student returns their library books!

Any student that is an independent walker MUST head home after school. Students may not stay after school and play on the snow hills or playground.

For SES Elementary pick-up and drop-off, please follow the blue arrows. Please do not drive south on 4th St. off to Wright Ave, instead use either 2nd or 3rd Street. Both of these streets will lead you to the appropriate location to access the pick-up/drop-off line. We will have staff waiting at the elementary loop to assist students entering and exiting your vehicle. Our top priority is student safety.

Please DO NOT call the office after 2:15pm for changes to your students pick up mode. All changes needs to be made before this time. Students will be dismissed according to the pickup method listed in PikMyKid.

1. Call the attendance line at 989-828-6601

2. Select Option #3

3. Select Option #1 and include the student's name, teacher, specific reason for absence, and date they will return.

4. Upon return to school, turn in a note from the physician, dentist, or counselor if available.
