Visit the TSD Back to School Hub!
With school starting in just under a month, we know that many families are preparing for students to return. Make sure you visit our Back to School Hub to find important information and answers to many common questions such as:
- When and where will I find my child's bus stop and pick up time?
- When will my MS or HS student receive their schedule?
- How do I log into Powerschool or Schoology?
- And more!
We will continue to update this page with answers to questions and resources as we get closer to the school year!
Please note: Powerschool will be down this weekend, August 2 and 3, as the TSD Data Services Department works to promote students to their grade for the upcoming school year.

Incoming 6th & 9th Grade Families: Save the Date!
Are You a Leader? SSAB Wants You!
Deadline to Apply is Tomorrow, August 2
Dr. Machesky is looking for motivated incoming 9th and 10th grade students to join our Superintendent Student Advisory Board (SSAB) next year. SSAB students serve as a sounding board for Dr. Machesky on various issues to help better understand student perspectives on important topics facing our students. It's a great opportunity for students to build leadership skills, meet students from all four high schools, and have the chance to have their voices heard at the district level. This is a very hands-on group where attendance and active participation are expected. SSAB students meet at least monthly, and they are involved in planning the Citywide MLK Jr. Event and Leadership Conference for 8th graders. Apply here. The deadline to apply is August 2 and decisions will be made in late August/early September.

Playground Work Continues
Full Speed Ahead at Troy High
Construction crews have been hard at work on multiple projects at Troy High this summer! Weather permitting, some of the site work is expected to be completed by mid-August.
Progress continues on the new concession stand, ticket booth, and restrooms for the stadium. As long as the weather cooperates, this project remains on track for completion by the end of October.
Fence posts were added to the new tennis courts this week, and we anticipate completing that project by mid-September, depending on weather conditions.
Work is also underway on the JV baseball field to address drainage and flooding issues, with completion expected soon.
