Exploring Maps in Kindergarten! 🗺️
Next week, our Kindergarteners will be diving into an exciting new unit all about maps! To help bring this learning to life, we are inviting families to send in any type of paper map your child can share with the class. This could be a map from a park, amusement park, zoo, store, shopping mall, or even a travel brochure, anything that helps us explore how maps work in the real world!
If you have any paper maps at home that you're willing to send in, we would love to start looking at them next week. Thank you for supporting our learning adventure!

Reminders
Absences - Please make sure that that you are logging all absences into Skyward. If you have a doctor note, please email to windsong-attendance@prosper-isd.net
Please bring your student car tag to dismissal.
Headphones: Send headphones with your child’s name on them please.
HOMEROOM APP: Please download this app CODE will differ per teacher.
Please put a change of clothing in your child’s backpack.
Please pack snack separate from lunch and make sure your child knows as well.
Dismissal changes - If you need to change your child's dismissal for the day (how they typically go home), you need to notify the office before 1:30 pm. Please do not solely email their teacher as they may not see the email until after dismissal. Additionally, if you have an older student as well, the office needs to be aware of the dismissal change for both. We can not rely on the older sibling to let them know. This is for the safety of all the kiddos. Thank you!
