CCA's April Character Trait: Gentleness
The April character trait of the month is gentleness. I asked three students what gentleness means to them and here are their responses. Samantha from 5th grade said, “It means helping others and making peace.” Haylee from 4th grade said, “It means being careful and caring for others.” Mayme from 7th grade said, “Trusting that God has a plan and He does everything for good is gentleness.” Gentleness is a noun and it means the quality of showing kindness and of being calm in dealing with others. 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with. -Jacob

Survey Says:
Kynlee surveyed 86 students and faculty to see if they would want to live in Old Testament times or the New Testament times. The Old Testament only received 13 votes to the New Testament’s 73 votes. The Old Testament occurs first and shows us how the world began and how the people of Israel came to be. The New Testament comes after and documents how the world is saved through what Jesus did for His people. There are 27 books in the New Testament.
