Greetings Lake Elkhorn Community,

We had a busy week at LEMS. Mr. Esposito, Mr. Nobis, and Mr. Crawford spent part of their Friday morning connecting with 5th grade students at Talbott Springs Elementary School for their annual career day. Students had the opportunity to learn about the three of them and also received information about LEMS. The 5th grade students asked great questions and enjoyed their time connecting with their future administrators & counselor.

Our 7th grade students visited the Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC today. They had a great time and represented LEMS in a positive way. Thank you to the staff for making this happen and to all of the chaperones that volunteered their time.

Hope everyone has a restful & relaxing weekend. Stronger together!

Please welcome Mrs. Hebah Bazian as our new teacher's secretary. She began at LEMS on Thursday of this week. Mrs. Bazian is the proud mom of two HCPSS graduates. Both of her children graduated from Long Reach HS. For the past fourteen years, Mrs. Bazian has worked as a special education and instructional paraeducator at Swansfield Elementary School. She was the heartbeat of SES and has a positive energy that is contagious. Next time you stop in the front office, please welcome Mrs. Bazian.
