Parents As Teachers

Do you know anyone who would like to take advantage of our PARENT'S AS TEACHER program? Our PAT Educator, Miss Brittany, has been with us for several years and is a great asset to our learning community. In addition to at home visits, she also hosts activities that allow families to connect with each other.

Early Childhood Center Ribbon Cutting

At our Fall Festival we were pleased to have Mayor Charlie Blalock join us to cut the ribbon on our grand opening of our Early Childhood Center. Through our bond project and a preschool start up grant we were able to complete the renovations on the new space.

We look forward to continue watching our Early Childhood Program grow and provide a space for the youngest member of our learning community.

Volunteer Spotlight

We have so appreciated our volunteer, Nancy Collings, a retired middle school Math teacher. She has been working with our 4-8 students a couple of days a week. We are so thankful for her time and expertise. She has been working with small groups and providing instructional support.

Project Playground

Our Strategic Plan includes Priority 2: The East Lynne 40 School District will create a sustainable facility maintenance plan and effectively and efficiently utilize building space.

With this priority, the district has set a goal to upgrade district grounds and facility spaces to sustain current growth.

One the spaces the district will pursue is an upgrade to our playground. A committee met in October to discuss possible solutions. We will be sharing more details in the coming weeks and hope to unveil our plan this month. The team shared some creative ideas to pursue and are excited to share a plan. The group really wants PROJECT PLAYGROUND to be a community project. Stay tuned for ways YOU can help.
