Special Issue: Middle School Scheduling
Scheduling Season is Upon Us
The 2025-2026 scheduling season for Dublin City Schools middle school students kicks off this week!
To support your discussions about course requests and future plans, we’ve linked the DCS Middle School Academic Programs guide. This guide offers valuable insights into the opportunities available and can help facilitate meaningful conversations with your student. Since scheduling timelines are managed at the building level, specific details about using Infinite Campus to finalize course selections will be shared directly with students by their guidance counselors and principals.
Additional resources related to scheduling can be found below. We look forward to helping your student plan for success!
Redistricting Impacts
The middle school redistricting process is complete, and the new boundaries will take effect starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Families can easily confirm their assigned middle school for next year on our website.
We want to assure families that this transition will be as seamless as possible. Students will work with their current guidance counselors to schedule and create their course plan for the 2025-2026 school year. These course requests will follow your student to their newly assigned school, ensuring consistency in their academic planning.
Finally, in May, each school will host a New Student Open House to warmly welcome incoming students and their families. These events will provide an opportunity to meet teachers, tour the building, and begin building connections with the new school community before summer break.
