General information that applies to all students and parents can be found towards the top of every newsletter, while information specific to your child's ensemble can be found in that particular section by scrolling down. Our final performance of the school year is this Thursday, May 16 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton HS PAC. The Band Hall will close at 4:30pm that day, and all students are responsible for taking their instrument and music binder to the PAC by the designated time outlined in this itinerary (click here).

Students should arrive already dressed in their uniform and have their instrument already assembled. Cases should stay in parent vehicles. All students will meet in the audience section of the PAC, not the Band Hall. See itinerary (including the second page) for more details.

We provide this so you can plan your family's activities. Remember, performances are a required part of our curriculum, so please contact a director ASAP for any conflicts. Our Beginners get to demonstrate all they have learned this year at the Temple College Band Invitational this Tuesday, May 14 at the Mary Alice Marshall PAC (2570 South 5th Street in Temple). We will perform for 3 judges who will give us comments, critiques, and a rating, similar to our Solo Contest earlier this year. Students who are academically ineligible or who did not pass off their music by the deadline will not be able to perform at this event.

Students should come to school that day wearing their band uniform, and will miss periods 2-6 so they will need to make up any missed school work. Click here to read our itinerary that has all the details for the day. This performance is free and open to the public, so come support us this Tuesday when our performance starts at 11:30am. You don't have to be a parent chaperone to attend, just come cheer us on!

This is one of the most important performances we have this year at a meeting of our Belton ISD Board of Trustees. This event will be held at the Pittenger Fine Arts Center, which is next to the district office (400 North Wall Street in Belton). Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend this final jazz performance of the year!

The Band Hall will close at 4:30pm that day, and students are responsible for getting their instrument and music binder to the Pittenger. They should arrive already dressed in their jazz uniform and instruments should already be assembled. Cases should stay in parent vehicles, and students should be dropped off at the Entrance B6 that labeled on the side of the building next to DAEP. We perform before the board meeting at 6:00pm and it should be live-streamed at this link: youtube.com/@beltonisdboardoftrustees8047. Feel free to send this out to relatives and friends who cannot come to the performance in person. After the recognitions portion of the meeting, we will need everyone's help to QUICKLY remove stands and equipment back outside entrance B6 (less than 3 minutes).
