Week 6
As we begin this week following the tragic loss of Carson Chrapkowski, I know this will be a difficult time for our MHS community. Please continue to give our students extra grace and patience this week. If students are struggling, please connect them with a counselor, administrator, or another trusted adult. We want to make sure students know they do not have to navigate this alone.
At the same time, I think it is important that we provide students with some sense of normalcy and opportunities to be together. We will continue with our Homecoming activities, including dress-up days, long lunch, the assembly, parade, Powderpuff, and other planned events. We can have fun and build community while also recognizing the loss we are experiencing.
Please look out for one another this week, and encourage students to do the same. A little extra patience, kindness, and awareness can go a long way right now.
Thank you for taking care of our students and each other.
Go Vikes!

Homecoming Parade Monitoring
A successful parade takes a whole-school effort, so we need all staff members to help out. We have a sign-up sheet for staff to help monitor different portions of the parade route and ensure our barriers remain in place and students and spectators stay safe. You also get a front-row spot to watch the parade as our students go by! It’s actually pretty fun!
If you are not already participating in the parade with a club, team, class, etc., please sign up for a spot on the route.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Admin or Officer Randall.
Thank you for helping make Homecoming a great experience for our students!
Homecoming Parade Float Sign Up
Use this form to sign your club/team/organization for the homecoming parade! I highly recommend that you involve your group in this fun tradition.
