8th grade Formal Information!

We are excited to be sharing some updates for the 8th grade Formal!

The date for the Harby Jr High 8th grade formal will now take place on May 9th, 2025 from 6:30 pm to 9:00pm. The google calendar on the website has been corrected to reflect this change.

We are planning for the event to occur at the local venue The Barn which is located at 319 W Willis St. Alvin, TX.

Online ticket sales will continue through the weekend! The last day will be Sunday (4/27) at Midnight!

THERE WILL NOT BE ANY TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR! There needs to be an exact headcount to ensure there is enough food for attendees.

This event is exclusive for 8th graders who are currently students at Harby Jr High. Students from other campuses or other grade levels will not be allowed to purchase a ticket or into the event.

Students can purchase a ticket for a friend on campus, but will need to know their first & last name, plus their student id number.

We will ask students to bring their Student ID to gain entry to the dance, but they won't be required to wear it during the formal event. The dress code for the event is pictured below. If you or student are unsure about an outfit ASK IN ADVANCE TO AVOID BEING TURNED AWAY FROM THE DANCE.

An arrival and dismissal plan will be shared as we get closer to the event.
