REMINDER: Senior College Forum

Hi Seniors and families! We know a lot of you have questions about the college application process. The counselors have recorded a step-by-step video called the Senior College Forum. This video explains how to connect Naviance to the Common App, how to request letters of recommendation, the Senior Packet, scholarships, sending test scores and much more. Please take 40 minutes to watch the video.

Senior College Forum Video

If you have further questions, please schedule an appointment with your counselor. Counselor Calendar LINKS

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a November 1st college application deadline, your transcript request form must be turned into the Counseling Office by October 9th.

Parking Announcement - Lot D CLOSED on Tuesday 10/6

Please be advised that on Tuesday, October 6th, Lot D will be closed for the entirety of the day (7:30AM-3:30PM).

This means that there will be no student drop-off or pick-up from Lot D on this school day. The Lot D parking lot is the nearest to the Senior High Gymnasium Lobby entrance.

If you normally use this traffic route, we ask that you make other travel arrangements for drop-off and pick-up. Our other traffic routes onto campus will operate as they normally do.

*Blair Circle (off of Blair Avenue)

*Junior High Traffic Circle (off of Gilbert Avenue)

*Sulsar Avenue (off of Jonathan Ave./Victory Parkway)

Lot D will re-open for normal drop-off and pick-up on Wednesday, October 7th.

We appreciate your understanding and appreciate your cooperation with this change.

Thank you,

Walnut Hills Administrative Team and Building Security Team

Student Parking Reminder

Students parking in designated student parking areas on school grounds must display a parking permit which can be purchased for $40 cash-only in the Main Office (Ms. Daniels). Students are not permitted to park in faculty, staff, and visitor parking areas during the school day. Students found to be parking on campus without a student Pass or parking in a designated Faculty Lot will be subject to disciplinary action which could also result in their loss of parking privileges.

Student Parking is First Come, First Served; A Parking Permit Does Not Guarantee A Parking Space.
The WHHS Student Parking Permit Registration 26-27 form must be completed in advance to obtain your parking pass.

FAFSA and CSS Profile are OPEN

The FAFSA and CSS Profile are both open! Everyone who wants to be eligible for federal financial aid should complete the FAFSA. Here is a tip sheet about creating a FAFSA account. Those applying to colleges that also use the CSS Profile should complete that form, too. The sooner, the better.

Monday, Oct. 12, from 9 am - 6 pm (last available appointment 5 pm)

Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 9 am - 6 pm (last available appointment 5 pm)

College representatives will meet individually with parents and students to assist in completing the FAFSA application. Appointments must be pre-scheduled.

Here is the Registration Link.

When individuals register, they will receive a confirmation page, and a confirmation email containing the zoom link as well as the necessary information they should have available with them in the meeting. Test Prep Opportunities through Revolution Prep

Give your student a PSAT and Digital ACT practice run with Revolution Prep. These exams mirror the official test format, timing, and tools—like the on-screen graphing calculator, digital notes, and answer elimination—so students can experience exactly what they’ll see on test day and receive a detailed score report instantly that shows where to focus next.

Why This Matters

In the weeks following the exam, you’ll meet with a Revolution Prep advisor for a 30-minute score review. This is where families unlock their student’s testing strategy—which test fits best, when to take it, and whether a class or tutoring is the strongest next step.

A high score isn’t the only goal — the right strategy is. This gives you both.

Digital ACT Practice Exam

Saturday, October 24, 2026 | 9:00 AM -12:30 PM | Proctored online via Zoom
