October is Anti-Bullying Month

Here's what we will be up to at school for anti-bullying month:

On Wednesday 10/8 we will have our "start with hello" day. Every student (and staff) will have a nametag with their name on it. We challenge students to reach out to at least 3 people throughout the day that they do not know by saying hello!

The week of 10/13 will be "spread the kindness" challenge in which some clothespins with positive messages will be floating around the building. You find one, keep it until you don't need the message anymore, and pass it along by clipping it somewhere else!

The week of 10/20 students will start out having a handwritten positive note on their desk. They will be encouraged to reach out to others by sending kind messages in one form or another.

The week of 10/28 will be our promise challenge week where there will be some a school promise to sign along with some other small activities as well as wear green day.

Of parents, we ask that you would please continue encouraging kindness at home!

Beginning Monday September 15th, all family communication was transitioned to using Talking Points. You may click on the link below for additional information about Talking Points.

https://intercom.help/talkingpoints/en/articles/10504279-translated-talkingpoints-families-app-invitations-printable

Parent/Guardians will be automatically enrolled with your phone number and e-mail addresses on file in the office.

It is very important that your phone number is updated so you can stay up to date with information from the building! To begin, TalkingPoints will automatically allow us to communicate by text messages to your phone. If you wish, you can download the TalkingPoints Parent app to your phone. This allows you to do more advanced features such as react to messages, RSVP to events, and more. Downloading the app is optional.

Any changes in phone number, e-mail address, or other important information should be communicated to the front office as soon as you can.

Change of addresses are required by Ohio Law, and should be communicated with our welcome center. Cindy in the French Run front office can help with this process.
