4th Grade News at Annetta

Week of August 24th
We have had a great first FULL week of 4th grade! We are settling in to our new schedules and routines. Thank you for sharing your kiddos with us- we are having fun getting to know them all!
Please make sure your student is not bringing squishies, fidgets, or toys of any kind to school. We want to make sure students are dedicated to their learning and not distracted by these items. Thank you for your support with this!
This hot weather is in full force! Please make sure that you are sending a water bottle with your child daily. Recess is a go unless we hear otherwise from Mrs. Elgin- she is diligently keeping an eye on the temp. It is helpful when students have their water bottles to stay hydrated.
Please check Mrs. Elgin's Newsletter for information about choir sign-ups! A parent meeting will be held on August 25, at 6:00pm. This is only offered to 4th and 5th grade students.
Please check your students planner and orange folder often. These are steps that we are putting in place to hold our 4th grade Bearcats accountable. We appreciate your help with this!
Helpful Reminders:
- If your student has a transportation change during the day, please send us a message on ParentSquare AND call the office so that they can let us know as well. There are a lot of moving parts during our day and we want to make sure students get home safely. Additionally, if your child has a transportation schedule that is different day to day, please write that information in student planners so that students are aware. Again, one of our top priorities is student safety.
- Please make sure your student brings a water bottle and snack daily.
- If your student is absent or plans to be, please email our PEIMS secretary Laurie Gilbert at lgilbert@aledoisd.org
- Please make sure your student brings their orange folder, planner and library books to school DAILY.
