A Successful First Day of School
The first day of school was extraordinary, with classrooms buzzing with laughter and enthusiasm. Our teachers prioritized creating a sense of belonging and security, introducing classroom routines, providing an overview of subjects, and gradually easing us into the school routine.

"I CAN" Excellence Award
Continuing the mastery of classroom concepts at school, at home, or on the go!
Our classes will be using an online learning program from Edmentum called Study Island to help ensure standards mastery, and in the process, also prepare students for summative exams this year. Study Island is web-based, so students will be able to continue their learning outside of the classroom as well, anywhere that internet is accessible.
IXL is a comprehensive learning program offering unlimited math and language arts practice across thousands of skills—all of which are aligned to state standards. One of the best things about IXL is that your child can access it from home, so you have a chance to see your child's progress! IXL is designed to help your child learn at his or her own pace. The program is adaptive and will adjust based on your child's demonstrated understanding of the material. All your child's results will be saved, so you can monitor his or her progress anytime by clicking on Analytics. For on-the-go practice, you can download IXL's free tablet apps for iPad, Android, or Kindle and sign in with your child's username and password.
If your child has trouble finding the links, please use our Student Tech Homepage.
Please log in to your FCA Parent Account to view the FCA Handbook and complete the Statement of Cooperation Form. Your child's teacher will distribute a printed copy to bring home. Please complete this by Friday, September 13.
On Friday, September 27 from 5PM - 7PM is our first FCA Family Night of the school year.
Your entire family is invited to join us for a night of dinnner and fellowship. Please come dressed to play team-building games. We will conclude the night with an encouragement for our families to keep on keepin' on for Lord.
Please RSVP by Tuesday, September 24 by using this link.
