Principal's Weekly Update # 10
October 24, 2026
A Message from Principal Plante
This week, our 8th grade students visited Gillette Stadium, where they explored interactive football, team-history exhibits, tried on gear, created their own team and participated in hands-on STEM challenges. On Friday, we held our grade-level community meetings, with students wearing their homeroom colors to show their school spirit and celebrate our school community as well as participating in our T.I.G.E.R. Ticket Raffle, recognition of our Student Ambassadors and a coin toss competition.

Coin Toss Activity
During the coin toss challenge, students predicted whether the coin would land on heads or tails. Those who guessed correctly remained standing, and the last student standing was crowned the winner!

Student Ambassadors
During Community Meeting, Ms. Bronzo presented our DES Student Ambassadors with pins. Our Ambassadors and their classmates participate in the 8th Grade Mentor Enrichment. This is an opportunity for our 8th grade students to mentor our Elementary students during the school day.
