Message from Principal Smith: Message from Principal Smith:

Colts Caring Community,

I wanted to formally introduce myself and share a brief summary of who I am. I grew up a military brat and ended up joining the Army when I was 17 years old. I’ve lived in Germany, Korea, and many states up and down the east coast of the United States. The military allowed me to learn and appreciate different cultures. It has been rewarding to build relationships with people from all walks of life. My parents retired in Atlanta, GA which is where I consider home. I have two kids, ages 12 and 16 and both keep me pretty busy. As we kick of a new school year, I am excited to serve in this position. I strongly believe in the power of building relationships where everyone feels connected and a sense of belonging whether students, parents, or staff members. Thank you for trusting me to lead an amazing school. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer, and I look forward to meeting parents and students soon!
