PTA Update from the Eagle's Nest
PTA Newsletter: Week of March 16, 2026
A Message from the Board
Thank you to our school community that joined us for Bingham Bid + Bash and on the online auction. Together we raised valuable funds to support our school's programs, classroom grants, and our student support materials. Whether it be donating to a classroom basket, participating in the event, bidding on an auction item or raffle basket, you each made a huge impact on the success of our fundraiser. Congrats to the Fink family for winning the parking space #5, the winners of the classroom baskets, and the winners of our 81 live auction items. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make the event a success: Ceanne, Sam, Meagan, Toni, Heather, Jeanette, Molly, Taylor, Jenny, Elea, Amanda, John, Jenn, Amy, Kaitlin, our guest Eagle, and everyone else behind the scenes that we may have missed. Our PTA and our school are special because of the care that each of you shares with our programs and events.

If you still have your tickets, please notify Jeanette Aiello or Ceanne Wienner by 7pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. All Hands on Deck!
We are heading into a busy season at school (and life). Please consider donating a bit of time to help support the many programs and activities taking place at school. In addition to these volunteer opportunities, there will be field trips, end-of-year parties/promotions, and other ways to get involved. Our whole community makes this school special and we hope that you or another family member can share your time and talents with our kids.

Conference Refreshments
Help us provide some treats and refreshments for our teachers and staff during conferences on March 24 & 25. Choose an item on the list or provide your own favorites. All treats should be dropped off at the school office. Thanks for brightening their day!
Dining for Donations: 3/25
On our half-day, save the dinner prep for another day and grab a bite at Rusty Bucket. 15% of your bill will be donated to Bingham Farms Elementary to be used for classroom grants and programs. Use Code PTA25 when ordering online or scan your receipt.
We hope that you had a wonderful and relaxing mid-winter break. As we launch into these next three months of school, there are lots of exciting things happening. Please consider joining us for the things that fit your family.
District-wide screening of Screenagers Final Showing: 3/19
Parenting in the digital age isn’t something any of us are figuring out alone. The boundaries we set and the norms we create as families shape the world all of our kids are growing up in — which means this is bigger than just one household. It’s a community conversation.
Join families from all BPS elementary schools for a district-wide showing of Screenagers on March 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the Groves Auditorium. This powerful documentary explores the science behind screen time and its impact on kids’ mental health, sleep, learning, and social development — and offers practical, research-based strategies for building healthier digital habits at home.
We hope you’ll be part of this important conversation.
Please note: This screening is intended for parents, guardians, and adult caregivers only.
