🚨 Final Reminder: Parental Consent Needed Before June 2nd! 🚨 Final Reminder: Parental Consent Needed Before June 2nd!

🚨 Final Reminder: Parental Consent Needed Before June 2nd!

Starting Monday, June 2nd, most schools will officially be opted into the National K12 Zones β€” giving students across the country access to our vibrant virtual platform. But before they can log in, there’s one crucial step:

πŸ‘‰ Students age 12 and under will not be able to access the National Zones without verified parental consent.

This is the final week to help families complete the consent process before summer access begins. While Learning Coaches can submit consent at any time, students won’t be able to enter the Zones until it’s done β€” and schools may face a flood of questions and support requests if families aren’t prepared.

βœ… What You Can Do This Week:

Please help us spread the word! We’ve made it easy with:

  • πŸ“Œ Flyers to share

  • ❓ A quick FAQ for families

  • 🎞️ A PowerPoint walkthrough of the process

πŸ”— Key Links:

  • Consent Site: www.consent.k12.com

  • Access the Zone: zone.k12.com/t/auth/sso-worlds?autosso=true

πŸ“€ Your support this week makes all the difference. Thank you for helping us ensure students are ready to explore the National Zones on day one!

Right now, educators can request a Classroom Zone, but the process takes a few weeks. Starting Tuesday, that changes β€” you'll be able to click a button and instantly create your own custom Zone without any delay. Whether you’re designing a classroom hub, a club space, or something totally unique, the ability to build your own Zone is about to get faster and easier than ever.

To get ready, we encourage you to attend Zone Design 101, held every Wednesday (alternating between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM CST) β€” or watch the full recording at your convenience. These trainings walk you through everything from layout and object placement to engagement strategies.

Need a little inspiration? Check out the powerful video below featuring Ms. Ratzloff, a math interventionist at OVCA, who shares how creating a classroom Zone has transformed the way her students β€” and she β€” experience learning.
