A quick note from the principal's desk...

Good Afternoon RPI Families,

WOW! What a great week! There isn't a day that goes by that I am not reminded why I am so proud to be the principal at RPI but this week I was even more blown away! Did we have our challenges? Yes. Did everything go smoothly with integrating face-to-face students with our virtual learners? No. However, the grace, patience, compassion, kindness and understanding that was lead by our teachers and staff shown brightly and our kids followed suit! It was truly one of the best weeks ever to be a Rocket! I saw everything that makes our community GREAT!

All year, we have been using the phrase "Be a light" to those in our charge...I needed sunglasses this week! Please take a moment and thank your teachers!

Please reach out should you have any questions! Go Rockets!

Drop Off/Pick-Up Area

With the increased volume of students being dropped off, we are seeing more traffic backups. So, help us all by following these guidelines:

  • Please don't drop students off until 7:25.
  • When you arrive at/after 7:25, please drop your student and then leave.
  • Waiting in your car causes major backups and with it still being dark is UNSAFE for all.

  • Students need to exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY when the car is located near a side walk.
  • Students need to be dropped off as close to the building as possible. NOT in the second lane away from the building. I have nightmares about one of our kids getting hit! We have had a few close calls. PLEASE don't do this!
