How we are meeting our Mission and School Goals
Goal 1
K-5 Math Hub
GOAL 2
Mrs. Hague's 3rd Grade Grwoing lettuce!
Students use math to figure out the pounds. The lettuce goes to the cafeteria.
Goal 3
🐎Leading the TRAIL at Home🏡
🌵 This Week on the TRAIL: Kindness Starts with Caring! ❤️
This week, our Trailblazers are learning about Kindness & Empathy—recognizing how others feel and finding ways to show they care! We're focusing on Lead with Kindness, especially in our lunch area, where a friendly smile, kind word, or invitation to join can make someone's day!
🏡 Try it at home: Ask your child, “How can you tell when someone might be feeling left out or sad? What could you do to help?”
Together, we're building a school where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and included! 🤠❤️
Goal 4
Reading Hub
Check out our Reading Hub for families.

PLP Progress
PLP Completion Recovers Attendance
Make sure if your child is absent, they complete their PLP module within the 7 day window. We currently have 391 days completed out of the 1, 454 available. That puts us at 27% completion. That is a lot of days that are lost that could be made up. See below for how May Ranch PLP completion compares to other schools in the district. Reach out to our attendance clerk if you need PLP support. Silver level attendance awards are for ALL PLP completions-end of trimester is this Friday, October 30th.
Positive Office Referrals
Get Sent to the Office for GOOD Things!
Any staff member can "refer" a student to the office for doing the something right, showing extra effort or just doing a great job. We make a good phone call home, hang the certificate in the office and post the picture on our Family Newsletter.
Returning Next Week
Photos will be added next week.
GO WRANGLERS!
Our Goal: Pick up and Drop Off is a Breeze!
You play an essential roll in creating a quick and safe drop off and pick up. Please ensure scholars are ready to exit safely and quickly by having them gather all materials prior to stopping. If you would like to exit the vehicle, please park in a parking space. Having your taxi (you will recieve the first day of school) in the window will ensure your student is ready when you pull forward. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Please DO NOT stop on Evans or Morgan Street to let your children out!! This is a safety concern and illegal. There are signs posted along the street.
Think Together Fun
Let's Be WRANGLER READY! Attendance is Key!
We are excited to welcome you and your scholars to a new school year filled with opportunities to learn and engage! OUR GOAL IS TO MAINTAIN A 95% ATTENDANCE RATE DAILY.
Getting into the habit of daily attendance is more important than ever. It helps to:
● reduce stress
● make it easier to connect with friends and teachers
● support learning
● Please call us at 951-490-4670 if you need help with attendance.
Be sure to schedule family vacations and trips during the scheduled breaks below so your scholar does not miss valuable instruction!
If your child is marked absent, you will receive an email with a link to an online learning program. If learning is completed, your child's absence will be cleared (not erased). This is one option for attendance recovery. This can be done for up to 15 absences. There is no longer Independent Study.
