May 3rd
Dear Audubon Families,
We have an exciting and important week ahead!
Monday, May 4th marks the kickoff of our KSA testing. Please help your child be fully prepared by ensuring they get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time each day. Being ready and relaxed will help them do their very best!
This past week, we had an incredible time celebrating our students during our “SOARing to Blue” pep rally. Our students showed amazing school spirit, and the highlight of the event was when Mrs. Flake, Mrs. Lamb, and Mrs. Rollins were slimed! Students earned votes to choose which teacher would be slimed, and it was a fun and memorable celebration for everyone involved.
Beginning May 11th, Mrs. Velotta will be out for the remainder of the school year. During this time, please reach out to Mrs. Phillips for any questions or support you may need.
As we approach the end of the school year, we have several exciting events planned. Be sure to review the dates included in this memo so you don’t miss anything important. We will also need volunteers to help make these events successful. Please consider signing up using the link below. Remember, all volunteers must have a current background check on file with the school.
Additionally, Monday, May 4th also kicks off Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Our PTO has planned a wonderful week to celebrate our amazing staff, and we are so grateful for your support in helping make this a special time for them.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are looking forward to a fantastic week!
Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Velotta
