Breaks are supposed to feel good. Sleeping in, no bus to catch, no late-night homework panic. We all need that reset. But when a whole winter turns into one long nap-and-scroll cycle, kids miss easy chances to grow without much effort.

1. Have your child read for a minimum of 20 minutes a day

2. Children thrive on naps, but also need movement breaks

3. Keep a learning journal to encourage students to write

4. Play math games with a deck of cards or dice

5. Cook together and teach your child to follow a recipe

6. Keep screen time to a minimum unless it's for educational purposes

7. HAVE FUN!

Parents and Guardians-

Students need to return all library books by Friday, December 19th. This will allow the librarian time to check them back in and organize the library before we return from Winter Break. Thank you for your understanding!

Parents/ Guardians,

In preparation for potential upcoming winter weather, all students have been provided with either NTI packets or Chromebooks. Through the remainder of the winter, anytime there is suspected bad weather or an extended break we will send home Chromebooks with your child. Please understand that it is a district expectation that students are completing work in Google Classroom. However, we have had some parents express a desire for their child to NOT bring home a Chromebook. If this is a specific concern of yours, please communicate that with your child's teacher directly.

Attached is a link to the school's NTI Plan, or you can click the image to the right. If the district ever chooses to use an NTI Day due to an emergency or inclement weather, you can refer to this document for directions.

Starting this school year, ANY transportation changes, MUST be submitted through the Transportation Changes Google Form. Phone calls to the school will no longer be accepted to change your child's transportation.
