Christmas Tree Lighting Event
Thank you to our Middle School volunteers, Rei and Meghan, for helping set up our new tree. We are looking forward to seeing all our families at our Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday at 4 p.m. for a magical evening! We gifted all our students with a "no homework" day so that all can attend and enjoy the event with their families and friends!

We have 18 Fridays plus 3 Thursdays (01/26,03/16,06/15), totaling 21 days.
1 slice = $60
2 slices = $120
There will not be a hot lunch option on these days.
Grade 1
Ms. Chambrelli's Grade 1 students modeled three different ways to get to the solution of the problem below:
Dan had 10 mini-racer cars. He got 6 more mini racer cars for his birthday. Then his brother gave him 4 more mini racer cars. How many mini-racer cars does Dan have in all?
They solved the problem by drawing shapes, a number line, and ten frames. Great job Grade 1!
Faculty Spotlight
Mr. Holmes began teaching at St. Mary's this fall, and he is pleased with the positive experiences he has had with the students, teachers, and staff. He attended the University of Maine and received his degree in physical education. He has taught for over thirty years grades PreK-High School. He enjoys teaching students at St. Mary's School and in his free time likes running, Shakespeare, and spending time with his family including his beautiful cat!
