Hello everyone!

We've been working hard in all of our classes to grow and develop as musicians this last month. Every class is showing massive growth and I'm very excited at what we will be able to show off later next month.

Most of this calendar pertains to events for Marching Band, but do take note of our upcoming Fall Concert on Tuesday, November 4th. This performance was previously scheduled for the 5th, but has been moved for logistical reasons.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at mpendon@cvsd.org

Thank you!

Mr. Pendon

Black 3-ringed View Binders needed!

We still have many students to who need a 1' to 1.5' Black 3-ringed View Binder for class. If your student still does not have one, please make sure to get one in the near future. It really helps with the management of sheet music and technique packs that we use in the classroom.

If you have extras or are able to donate extra binders, please feel free to bring them into the Band Room at any point. They WILL be used by students and it would go a long way to keeping our ensembles organzied and prepared for every class period.

ATTENDANCE POLICY ATTENDANCE POLICY

Rehearsals and performances require group participation and buy-in to work. Your presence matters! Please make it a priority to show up to listed events.

If your student is unavailable to show up for a rehearsal or performance for any reason, please have a parent contact Mr. Pendon via E-mail ASAP. I prefer to have parent communication on events conflicts so that parents and staff have an understanding on the location of the student.

Please do not contact via SportsYou for attendance purposes. E-mails will allow for easier documentation.
