We are so excited to be hosting a Holiday Shop for our students this year. They will have the opportunity to shop and purchase gifts for loved ones. This experience will hopefully bring excitement as they choose a small gift, chosen by them. Our hope is that our students will experience the joy and magic in the season by giving to others.
Gifts will range in price from 25 cents to $11. We encourage you to work with your child to have them EARN the money they will be spending. Here are a few ideas on how they can earn money to shop: Make their bed, empty the dishwasher, take out the trash, sweep, etc.
The Holiday Shop is such a valuable experience for our students and we appreciate your help in making it memorable. Keep an eye on your child's take-home folder for information over the next couple weeks.
We wanted to share our dress up days NOW, so you can start preparing. Note the dates: 12/11-12/20

β° Attendance β°
We continue to applaud your efforts of making regular school attendance a priority at your house. THANK YOU, families, for striving to keep your child in the MILD absenteeism category. This means your child misses less than 8.5 days of school ALL YEAR. Currently, 94% of our students have mild absenteeism. Way to go!
π Academics π
We have set our next goal to read NINE million words. If (when) we reach it, Mrs. Byrd & Mrs. Anselmi will get silly-stringed!
Students may begin turning in their November Book It Calendars on Friday! We can't wait to see how many students earned their free pizza!
