Kindergarten Registration - April 13th at Rosemont

Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 will be here soon!

Beginning March 1, please enroll your child through the online enrollment process by visiting the BCS webpage and clicking on the enrollment information section for Kindergarten for 2026-2027...

Then, please call Rosemont at 304-267-3560 to schedule an appointment to visit the school on April 13th.

Your child must be 5 years old on or before June 30, 2026 to be eligible for kindergarten. Below is a list of items that you will need to begin the registration online:

*Copy of physical from well-child and dental examination completed within the last year

*Proof of residency (electric or phone bill showing your current physical address - no Post Office Box address)

We look forward to meeting your new student and welcoming him/her to Rosemont very soon! Please help us spread the word to any neighbors, relatives, or friends....

Student Absences

When your child is absent, there is no need to call the school. Please make sure you send a note with your student when he/she returns to school. Absence notes may now be submitted electronically this year by following this link:

https://www.berkeleycountyschools.org/o/bcs/page/absencenote

It is very important to submit a note or send a note for your student.

Also, when your child is absent, calls are made district-wide to let parents/guardians know. If you know that your child is home, you do not need to call the school. It is a courtesy call for families and mainly is applicable to older students, but is a district-wide system.
