Brave and Belonging - Barron Elem
Welcome Military Connected Families
My name is Ms. Chavez, and I am honored to serve as your new Military Family Liaison at Barron Elementary. In this role, I’m here to support our military-connected students and families — whether you are new to El Paso, preparing for a PCS, or navigating the unique challenges of military life. While I split my time between Torres and Barron Elementary, I will be on campus every other day to stay connected and available to you.
As the season of gratitude arrives, we’re excited to celebrate our Pioneer spirit and the strength of our military-connected families. November is a time to honor Military Family Appreciation Month and Veterans Day, recognizing the courage and dedication of those who serve and the families who support them.
Our hallways are filled with autumn colors, gratitude, and excitement as we prepare for upcoming events that bring our community together in warmth and appreciation. Thank you, Pioneer families, for helping us create a campus that feels like home for every student.
Respectfully,
Angie Chavez
