Educators' Message
Music
In music class, we've been keeping the beats and rhythm!! From Pre-K to 5th grade, everybody has learned fundamental rhythmic skills from listening, playing and creating. As we approach October, our Prek-1st graders will learn how to use their voices. 2nd graders-5th graders will continue building rhythmic skills by now learning, listening, singing and playing melodies. Our Logan Leopards are ready to use our voices to sing, play and create Melodious Melodies! Below are our upcoming music field trips for the month of October.

Physical Education Soccer Unit: Sport Education Model
This month we will be working on soccer. Soccer teaches students fundamental motor skills, coordination, and teamwork through fun modified games. The Sport Education Model in Physical Education is a curriculum framework designed by Daryl Siedentop in 1984 to give students authentic, engaging, and comprehensive sports experiences rather than isolated skill practice.
