Dear Hawaiian Elementary Community,

Happy New Year! As we welcome 2026, we wish you and your families a year filled with positivity, good health, and continued success. A new year brings fresh opportunities for growth, learning, and connection, and we are excited to begin this next chapter together as a school community.

As always, January will be a busy and engaging month at Hawaiian Elementary. We look forward to hosting our Family STEM Night, where students and families will have the opportunity to explore, create, and learn together. We are also excited to launch the first of our parent workshops, held in partnership with the LA County Department of Mental Health, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the well-being of our students and families. We will close out the month by celebrating Kindness Week, reinforcing the importance of empathy, respect, and caring for one another across our campus.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to a wonderful new year with all of you and to a great month as we kick off 2026 together.

Annual Family STEM Night- January 13th @ 5:30 PM

Get ready for a night of discovery! Hawaiian Elementary is thrilled to partner with Whitney High School once again for our annual Family STEM Night.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students and families to dive into hands-on activities involving Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Last year was a huge success, and we can’t wait to see the incredible projects and experiments our community tackles this year!

Support a Great Cause

The Whitney STEM Club will be selling snacks and drinks throughout the event. All proceeds will go toward their fundraiser, helping them purchase supplies to keep hosting these wonderful community events.
