On Tuesday, January 25, Dryden Junior/Senior High School seniors completed the American Health and Safety Institute CPR, AED, and First Aid course by demonstrating their hands-on skills for Lapeer County EMS' Mike Cleaveland, Education Supervisor and Quality Manager and Scott Filkins, Operation Manager. Prior to the in-person instruction, students completed an online course. This combination provided students with Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid certification that can be renewed every two years.

Congratulations to the seniors for learning these lifesaving skills, and thank you to the Lapeer County EMS for their help!

On Friday, January 28, the boys played at home against CPS. The nest was packed, the gym was electric, and the boys went to work. They dominated CPS, with a score of 61-14. Tommy Giles had 6 points, and Zack Lemke had 4 points. Then Jaylin Taylor, Sonny Coscione, and Jacob Buffo had 2 points.

After the game, the coach said, "It was a good win for us. Offensively we moved the ball and got contributions for many players. Defensively we really played hard."

It was a great home win for the boys! Good luck next week, and go Cardinals!
