It’s Dance Time!

We’re looking forward to a fun night together! Thank you to our supportive parents for volunteering food, drinks, and most importantly, their time to chaperone.

Reminder: Due to construction, the main office lobby will serve as the drop-off and pick-up location. Drop-off is at 6:00 p.m., and pick-up is at 8:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for additional details.

Building Leadership and Belonging

As part of our ongoing commitment to a school where everyone feels welcome and valued, a group of our students attended the Penn GSE Middle School Student Leadership Summit in Downingtown on Friday. They learned about overcoming obstacles, connecting and communicating with peers, and discovering their unique leadership styles.

Sincerely,
Ryan Buterbaugh

We are excited to invite our families to join us for the 6th Grade Student & Family Thanksgiving Luncheon on Friday, November 21st, at 12:00 PM, in celebration of American Education Week.

Our dedicated cafeteria team will be preparing a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Families planning to attend are asked to RSVP using [THIS FORM] by November 19.

Due to limited space, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to parents only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate younger siblings. In addition, the Thanksgiving meal will be the only lunch option available for 6th grade students on that day.

This luncheon is one of our most cherished and well-attended events of the year, and we look forward to celebrating this special occasion with our 6th grade families!

As we continue into the fall months, it's crucial to maintain a healthy environment in our school to protect students during the respiratory virus season. If your child is ill, please consult the following RTMSD guidelines to determine if they should attend school:

When to keep your child home

Keeping your sick child at home will help them recover sooner and prevent the spread of germs.

Reminding your student to cover their cough and the importance of good handwashing goes a long way in preventing the spread of bacteria and viruses. Proper nutrition and getting plenty of rest helps to maintain their immune system. Please remind your student not to share water bottles, cups/glasses and eating utensils.

A reminder about our district medication policy. Students are not permitted to have any medication with them at school. Only inhalers and EpiPens with self-carry doctor's orders are permitted. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Tums are available at the health office with parent permission. If your student needs any other medication at school, please see the Administrations of Medication policy for instructions.

Thank you for helping us keep our school community healthy.

To keep classrooms focused and learning uninterrupted, all wireless devices, including cell phones, smart watches, earbuds, and similar devices, must be OFF and AWAY during the school day unless a teacher gives a specific academic reason to use them. Students will be reminded each morning to power down their devices.

Please let your child know that you will not be texting or calling during school hours. If a student needs to reach a parent, a staff member can provide permission. In an emergency, the main office is the best way to get in touch. More details are available in the Springton Lake Student Handbook.

Thank you for helping us create a safe, distraction-free learning environment!
