Students have worked on this song in music class over the past two months. Students can wear all black OR a shirt representing their elementary school! Alisha Hansen-Proulx will be there to represent Pierce School, and music teacher, Jackie Neilssen will stand and sing with them! Please encourage your student to come. Fishing for Site Words...
Students work hard to learn their site words, using fun games and manipulatives with magnet fishing tools. We like to keep learning fun at Pierce School!
Kindergarten Leprechaun Traps
Second Grade Guest Readers
Thank You!
Thank you from Pierce Elementary School to all our guest readers who came the past two weeks to celebrate celebrate Read Across America. You have helped our students get excited about books and having a new face in the classroom to hear a great story, so thank you for making reading come to life!
NH Statewide Testing for 3rd and 4th Graders
In May, the 3rd and 4th graders will participate in the required NH SAS testing for Writing, Reading and Math during May 5th to the 23rd. Students in grades 3-4 are going to work on practice test sessions before taking the actual tests to become familiarized with the platform. We are giving students two testing sessions for each different kind of test, so they have more than enough time, and the purple sessions are makeup sessions for students who are absent on a day when the testing is given so we can make sure all students are able to finish the testing in the window of time the tests are mandated.
We are asked to share the testing schedule with families, so it is being shared here for all to see. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. More information will be posted on our school website as well.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow...
New Game Camera Photo:
The Bennington Conservation Commission was generous enough to purchase game cameras, which several of our 4th graders approached them and requested these cameras for the purpose of studying wildlife. This is the first photo we have captured! Mrs. Germain shared this photo with us just today! How lucky are we to see this amazing smile!
