Principal's Corner Principal's Corner

Dear Milwood Elementary School Community:

Thank you to our outstanding Penny War coordinator for skillfully leading this year's fundraising initiative. Students and classes demonstrated remarkable strategic thinking in determining which grade-level containers would receive their contributions of silver coins. Through their collective efforts and thoughtful participation, we were able to raise an impressive total of $989.64. We extend our sincere gratitude to every individual who contributed to the success of the Penny War.

Kind Regards

Penny War Winner! Penny War Winner!

Harvest Festival Parade Harvest Festival Parade

We will have our harvest Festival Parade on Oct. 30th at 11:15. Students are welcome to bring their costumes to school to put on for the parade, but they are not to be worn to school. Costumes must be school-appropriate costume, safe, and comfortable for moving around during the school day. NO fake, toy, or costume weapons of any kind are allowed. This is an important rule that could end in disciplinary action if a student brings them to school.

No costume? No problem! We will have extra costumes available for students who need or forget one. Have old costumes at home? We would love your donations! Send gently used costumes to your child's classroom teacher, and we will add them to our collection.
