Recognizing Outstanding D303 Students

Dr. Gordon and the School Board celebrated the accomplishments of East High School Students Kyna Patel and Ameya Yammanuru, who were winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge, for their Safety Quest app, which helps prepare students to respond to a health emergency.

Also celebrated were students from two music ensembles from North High School who were recognized at the state level for being a model music education program. The ensembles were invited to perform for thousands of music teachers at the Illinois Music Education Conference in Peoria.
