They are using the 'Who Would Win?' book series to help them decide who the winner will be at the end of the animal tournament. They have been working hard doing research on each animal and why they should win. Stay tuned to find out who the winners will be!

A Word From Ms. R.
Locomotion is the Key
In P.E. this week all grades worked hard on practicing their hand/eye coordination through the sport of volleyball. Learning how to underhand serve, bump and set. Second, third and fourth got to end the week with playing full games of volleyball. Second, first and kindergarten also continued their practice of locomotive patterns, such as, skipping, galloping, and hoping.
In health second, first and kindergarten wrapped up their nutrition and digestive system unit with a trivia game called Kahoot. While third and fourth grade started their exploration of why physical activity is beneficial to our whole health and how it ties into the cardiovascular system.
