❗❗If you are dropping your student off after 7:55 AM, they must be accompanied by a parent and signed in through the main office. If your student is leaving prior to dismissal time, a parent must sign them out through the office. ID may be requested at secretaries discretion.

Upon dismissal from school, students must leave the building and playground and are to go directly home except bus students who will be going to their respective buses. Students should not be sent to the office to wait for parent pick-up after dismissal time.

If your student is not riding their primary bus, they will need to have a signed note from a parent to give to the bus driver. You should also notify Harlow's Bus Company at (605)-347-5066.

This has been a mild winter, but mornings can still be chilly for the kiddos. They do go outside as long as the "feels like" temp is above zero. We do not have extra coats to hand out in the office.

Please remind your students that all cell phones and smart watches must be turned off and stored in their backpack during the day.

Page 18, under the Personal Items heading, the PVE Student & Parent Handbook states...

"CELL PHONES ARE TO BE TURNED OFF AND STORED IN STUDENT BACKPACKS. IF A STUDENT IS USING A CELL PHONE DURING THE SCHOOL DAY WIHTOUT PERMISSION, THE PHONE MAY BE PLACED IN THE OFFICE UNTIL A PARENT PICKS UP THE PHONE."
