The TEA Report Card ratings for 2024 and 2025 have been released. The link to the reports has been posted on our website. Please click the image to see the details on our webpage.
Here are just a few highlights that can be found in the 2025 report:

- STAAR Performance rates for "Approaches Grade Level" in all end-of-course subjects for our campus was 77%. Compare that to the state which was 75% and the district which was 68% of students approaching grade level in all EOC tested subject courses.
- When looking at the School Progress Annual Growth numbers, which only look at ELA and Math EOC tests, Endeavor High School was higher than the district and the state in showing growth for both subjects.
Great things happen here!

Native Fruit Trees For Your Backyard!
On February 7th, from 9 AM - 12 PM we are giving away native fruit trees here at Endeavor!
Planting a native fruit tree in your backyard is a great way to help clean the air and support local wildlife. Plus, after a few years of caring for your tree, you will also get a harvest of fruit for your family and friends!
This free tree donation event is part of a 5-year forestry project happening across the Houston area. It is focused on supporting communities, planting trees, and creating environmental job opportunities. This project is a big team effort between many organizations to create a greener, healthier Houston.
Native fruit trees are especially valuable to plant because they are built for Texas. They clean the air by removing pollution, creating more oxygen for us to breathe, and providing a food source. Also, they only need a little maintenance because they are used to Texas heat and rain patterns.
So, if you want to make a difference, and take home a free native fruit tree, come by Endeavor on February 7th to take part in this special community event!
For tips on how to plant your tree, look at this guide from Texas A&M Forest Service: https://tfsweb.tamu.edu/trees/tree-care/planting/
DID YOU KNOW:
A single mature tree can absorb up to 48 pounds of carbon dioxide every year!
Some fruit trees can live and produce fruit for over 30 years when cared for properly.
Tree roots help reduce flooding and erosion, keeping our soil and water cleaner.

ACT/SAT Info
What is the ACT/SAT test?
Both the SAT and the ACT are nationally administered, standardized tests that help schools evaluate your application and see how prepared you are for college courses. The SAT and ACT generally cover the same topics. Both ACT and SAT scores are used for college admissions decisions and awarding merit-based scholarships. Most colleges do not prefer one test over the other. Neither the SAT nor ACT is harder than the other. Different students tend to do better on one test than the other.
Ask Mrs. Jackson or Mrs. Salinas for more information.
