We encourage everyone to plan ahead and have a card or digital payment method ready before attending events. Cash will no longer be accepted at these activities.
Thank you for your cooperation as we modernize the payment experience across our campuses!
Athletic & Fine Art Event Updates
- To ensure student safety at Hays, all students who attend campus events as spectators are required to be picked up by 8:00 p.m. or shortly after the event ends, whichever comes first, unless they are attending the event with a parent. Students who are not picked up on time may lose the privilege of attending future events.

Spread Kindness with Our New "Be Kindβ Shirt!
We are thrilled to launch the new school year with our district "Be Kind" shirts and sweatshirts. This isn't just apparelβit's a movement. Our Hays Hope Squad encourages everyone to wear yellow on Wednesdays to spread hope and kindness!
UIL Academics
If you would like your child to participate in UIL Academics, please complete this form BEFORE September 18, 2026
We are very excited to offer our students in grades 2β8 the opportunity to participate in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) A+ Academics Competition! Students should start prepping now using the resources at www.prosper-isd.net/uilacademics.
First contests are in late September (Middle School) and October (Elementary School). The top 10 students per grade/event at each campus advance to the campus Competition Team, which attends weekly practices.
- Elementary: top 4 per grade/event advance to the February zone meet based on practice performance.
- Middle School: all competition team members compete at the January practice meet; coaches then use tournament/practice performance and attendance to pick the top 4 students for districts.
You will be able to indicate areas of interest for your student. Please keep in mind that there may be conflicts with practice and/or competition times, and it may not be possible to participate in multiple events. You'll select your student's areas of interest, but scheduling conflicts may limit participation in multiple events. To enroll, complete the form below by September 18, 2026 (one form per student). See event descriptions here.
