CPC Update

WOW, accreditation week is over!

Thank you so much for your time, preparation, and hospitality you showed our accreditation team this week! I know that there were a lot of moving parts to this and each one of you played a very important role. Great job CRD TEAM on being the frontline of helping and showing our visitors around. I know the weather on Thursday made that quite a journey and each of you handled it with professionalism and a smile.

Moving into next year's application season, I wanted to let you know of a recent name change that has been approved. Next year, Service Careers-Grounds Keeping/Automotive Maintenance will now be called Service Careers-Mechanics.

Dawn has been working hard to transfer our old food pantry to the Welcome Center. AND GOOD NEWS, she has the new one up and running!! You probably all know, but it is right across the hallway from the Career Advisor door to the hallway. Let Dawn know if you have any Food Pantry questions. Thank you, Dawn, for all of your work on getting this set up!

Dawn got all of the mailboxes set up in the mail area at the Welcome Center. Thank you, Dawn!

Now that everything is in place, we will be centralizing all incoming and outgoing mail to this location. We have also notified our district mail delivery team of this change.

• Friday, December 11th- Sheila will move over to the Welcome Center
• Monday, December 14th - Kristin will move over to the Welcome Center
• Monday, December 14th-Friday, December 18th - all student/potential student/Department of Labor testing will be in the new assessment center.
• The Pearson Vue room (old center) will close for the semester on December 10th and reopen January 2027 in the current location with a limited schedule.

On 10/27, I sent out an email titled "11/20 Counselor Breakfast Agenda" and I have attached it below. After reviewing, please let me know if you have any questions!

Dawn is collecting $20 membership dues for the CPC RK Social/Care Fund. Participation is completely voluntary, but if you would like to contribute, you may pay the full amount at once or make payments over the next five months. This fund provides a great opportunity to celebrate, support, and care for our team throughout the year! Thank you for your consideration!
