Helping Each Child Soar!

Preschool and kindergarten round up is just around the corner. Please join us on Tuesday, February 11th from 6:00-7:00 PM for a Parent Information Night at the ITEC.
Harvey-Swanson Kindergarten Round up will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:00-7:30 PM at HSE.
It's never too soon to start thinking about serving on our PTA Board for the 2020-2021 school year. Information regarding the four positions will be shared soon so that you can see what the opportunities involve. Nominations will be taken in May and voting is in June.
January is School Board Recognition Month. We thank our School Board for all they do to support our school!
The third graders will be presenting The Big Chill musical this Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the PAC. The doors will open at 5:30 PM. Come enjoy the show!
Please join me in congratulating our wonderful secretary Sharon Oliver as she prepares to retire and head toward her next adventure. Sharon will be with us until the end of the month. Thank you to Sharon for all she has done for our school over the years! We will miss her!

What it is... Prudent people are consistently thoughtful about the choices they make and this helps them reach their goals.

Why it matters... Goal setting helps us be successful, and we are more likely to reach our goals when we have a plan that helps us stay focused.

PTA Meeting: Monday, January 13th at 3:45 in the library.
Third Grade Musical at the PAC: That morning from 9:15-10:15, students will be bused to the PAC to rehearse.
January 17th is a half day of school. Students will be dismissed at 11:50 AM. Teachers will engage in an afternoon of professional learning.
No school on January 20th.
The first semester ends on Friday, January 24th.
Records Day is January 27th. No School.
Lady Blackhawks winter basketball league for 4th-8th grade girls begins in February. The flyer is attached.
