Summer Edition #1! July 28, 2025
The Aspen system has gone through its annual updating process. Now, it's your turn. 😄
We need you to update your child's information every year for a host of critical reasons:
- Most importantly, in the event of an emergency, we need to be able to contact you via email, voice and text, and these need to be confirmed annually
- Emergency contacts need to be current and verified for early dismissals for any reason (family events/pickups, illness and as well as emergencies). Please list at LEAST one additonal contact-preferably two.
- For older students, Aspen must be updated for extra and co-curricular participation
Our preliminary classroom placement process was completed in June by teachers, administrators, counselors, special educators and Allied Arts teachers. However, students continue to come and go throughout the summer which always impacts placement. We thank you for respecting the placement process and the work teacher put into the process.

Once Aspen is updated, you will be assured the opportunity to view your child's classroom placement in Aspen after 10:00AM on Thursday, August 20th. If you aren't able to view your child's homeroom, first be sure you have updated your account. If you still are not able to view your child's homeroom, please reach out to our school secretaries. They can make sure you receive the information you need. If you have trouble updating your Aspen Account, please reach out to our district team:

School Supplies
*The supply lists are quite lengthy. Please do not be concerned if you cannot provide everything on the list as many things are considered optional. We have extra supplies on hand, and all children will have what they need. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need assistance with classroom supplies for your child. Our counselors, Kara Elmer, Allison Eaton and Kaitlyn LeBaron are also happy to help!
