October is a great time to recognize the people who work behind the scenes every day to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff. In honor of Custodial Appreciation Day, I want to take a moment to recognize our custodial team: Shilo, Emmanuel, and David.

Our custodians do much more than clean classrooms and hallways. They help prepare our buildings for activities, keep our facilities looking their best, respond to unexpected messes and maintenance needs, and contribute to creating a positive environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Their work often happens behind the scenes, but it is an important part of making our school successful.

Please join me in thanking Shilo, Emmanuel, and David for everything they do for the Kimball School District. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication!

Celebrating Our Principal

October is also National Principals Month, and I want to take a moment to recognize our principal, Ms. Olson.

Being a principal requires a tremendous amount of time, energy, patience, and dedication. Ms. Olson works hard each day to support our students and staff, handle the many challenges that come with leading a school, and help make Kimball School a great place to learn and work.

October Reminders & Important Dates

• October 4- Coronation @ 7:00 p.m.
• October 9 – Homecoming We are excited to celebrate Homecoming with our students, staff, families, and community. Homecoming is always a special time at Kimball, and we encourage everyone to come out and support our students and activities.
• October 10 – Saturday School Saturday School will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• October 15- End of 1st Quarter/1:00 Early Dismissal
• October 16 – No School
• October 19 – No School

As we move into the fall months, thank you to our parents, staff, and community members for your continued support of Kimball School District. The partnership between our school and community plays an important role in providing our students with positive educational experience.
