Note from Our Principal
Dear RedHawk Families,
We are SO EXCITED to welcome our families into our building next week for Conferences! We love having the opportunity to connect with you, share the great things happening at Wredling, and partner together to support your students. Conferences will take place on Thursday, October 8, from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 9, from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. As a reminder, please double-check your conference sign-up so you know whether you selected a virtual or in-person conference. We look forward to seeing you!
We are also incredibly grateful for all of our students and families who braved the rain to come out and support our RedHawks at the Crosstown Classic Football Game against Thompson. Despite the soggy conditions, our football teams gave us plenty to cheer about as we walked away with two huge wins! We are so proud of our players and the RedHawk community that showed up to support them. Our JV team will host the championship game next Wednesday, while our Varsity team travels to Batavia on Tuesday. We hope to see you there!
As we continue encouraging our students to be more present and involved in athletic events and clubs, we also want to remind everyone that being a RedHawk means representing more than just ourselves. Please take a moment to review our behavior expectations at home: Be Respectful, Make Responsible Choices, and Stay Safe. I often remind our students that when we are part of a team, club, school, or community, our choices send a message about who we are and what we value. We want our students to enjoy these experiences, cheer loudly, have fun, and support one another—while also remembering what it means to be part of Wredling and to truly be a RedHawk.
Thank you, as always, for taking the time to read our newsletter and stay connected to all that is happening at Wredling. We are grateful for your partnership!
Together We Soar!
Proud To Be A RedHawk
