Please see below for important information regarding testing. The buses run at the typical AM and PM times before and after school on April 15th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd. Students can ride the bus on testing days and wait in the cafeteria until their classes start, or they may show up when their classes begin.
Please note the End of Course Exam schedule as shown above for students. Please also notice that not every mod will take place each day. The mods do not run in consecutive order so as to accommodate the Polaris students' schedule. Please be aware Tuesday, April 28th, unless your student is taking the Biology exam, NO other students should be in the building.
ONLY STUDENTS TESTING SHOULD BE IN THE BUILDING DURING SCHEDULED TESTING TIMES on the 28th. Please look at the exam testing chart above for further clarification. Reminder: Polaris Students, on the days of End of Course Exams, buses for Polaris will run as normally scheduled.
If a student does not have an EOC test, they do not need to be at BMHS during testing. However, if they are taking their normal bus for transportation purposes, students should report to the 1A Cafeteria and remain there. Students are not permitted to walk through the building while tests are being administered.
Student Spotlights: Check out some of our Titans and their accomplishments!
Friday marked the final meeting of the Superintendent Student Advisory Council for the school year. Students moved through station rotations centered on reflection, feedback, and future planning.
Throughout the meeting, students shared thoughtful perspectives on their experiences in our schools, including what helps them feel engaged, supported, and heard.
They reflected on their growth, discussed ways to strengthen the student experience, and offered honest input on academics, support systems, and communication.
The conversation highlighted the value of student voice and the importance of continuing to listen, respond, and grow together as a district.
The meeting concluded with senior recognition, celebrating the contributions of graduating members and thanking them for the perspectives they brought to the council throughout the year.
We are proud of these students who shared their perspectives, challenged thinking, and are helping to make our schools stronger.

Berea-Midpark High School partnered with Valley Forge High School to host a ROX Career Speaker Panel for female students, creating a powerful opportunity to hear from women leading in a wide range of fields.
ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences) helps girls build confidence, develop leadership skills, and see themselves as strong, capable leaders.
This panel brought that mission to life as students heard honest advice about career paths, education requirements, overcoming challenges, and believing in their own potential.
Students heard from (left to right):
Penny Loucas, Administrative Law Judge
Marie Gallo, Mayor of Parma Heights
Carolyn Noll Sorg, Incoming President of John Carroll University
Tracy Wheeler, BCSD Superintendent
Mariah Rodriguez, Cleveland Police Department
Dr. Sarah Fracci, Cleveland Clinic psychiatrist
Laura Pulliam, Lubrizol, STEM
Brittany Matuschek, Continuous Improvement Manager and Shaker Heights Boys Basketball Coach
Maikee Migallos, Cleveland Browns
Raebeth Hughes, Cleveland EMS
It was a meaningful experience for students to see leadership in action and hear honest reflections from women making an impact in their communities.
Students also left with advice that will stay with them:
“Do the work. Be confident. Take up space.”
“You have to show up and do the job.”
“As long as you work hard and believe in yourself, you’ll go a long way.”
“Be unapologetically who you are.”
