March Update

March Update

Dear Parents and Families,

As we move into the spring semester, we are entering an important stretch of the school year. The months ahead are filled with academic milestones, activities, and opportunities for growth. This is the time to refocus, recommit, and finish the semester strong.

At our high school, we continue to center our work around three core values: Respect, Responsibility, and Safety.

Respect

Respect is the foundation of a positive learning environment. We are encouraging students to demonstrate respect in their classrooms, hallways, and extracurricular activities—through their language, behavior, and interactions with peers and staff. When students treat others with respect, it strengthens our entire school community.

Responsibility

Spring is a critical academic period. We are asking students to take ownership of their learning by:

  • Monitoring grades regularly

  • Communicating with teachers

  • Completing assignments on time

  • Preparing for assessments and end-of-year requirements

Parents can support this by checking grades and attendance frequently and encouraging daily study routines at home.

Safety

Student safety remains our top priority. This includes physical safety on campus as well as making responsible choices before, during, and after school. We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing appropriate behavior, safe driving practices, and positive decision-making.

Attendance Matters

Consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of academic success. Every school day counts—especially as we prepare for state assessments, final exams, and course completion. We ask that students arrive on time and attend school daily unless they are ill. Missing even a few days can create gaps in learning that are difficult to recover.

As always, thank you for your continued support. When families and schools work together, students thrive. Let’s make this spring semester one of focus, growth, and strong finishes for every student.

If you have any questions or need support, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
Clovis High School Administration
