The Rebel Kitchen offers a Plant-Based Option everyday at Lunch. Breakfast is served everyday after 7:30 a.m. A friendly reminder that students must have money on their account in order to purchase a la carte items or additional lunches. All students receive one breakfast/lunch daily, free of charge.

Reminder to all JH and HS students to get to their scheduled classes on time! If you accumulate 3 or more tardies in a week time span, you will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes 1st hour attendance!

Reminder to all JH and HS students that if you do not attend a scheduled class without excuse, this will be considered an unexcused absence and skipped class. Any skipped classes will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes your Advisory class.

There is no Behind the Wheel driving today Monday October 13 - Mr Schertz is not here today.

The library is celebrating teen literacy with Teen-tober!

Each week we will have a different activity!

This week come in and check out our Lego table!

Students and staff will be able to vote for their favorite buttons beginning on Oct 13. One winner from the junior high and one from the high school will receive a gift card from Lucy Dots. Winners will be announced on Oct 27.

Also, stop in the library and register to win one of our swag bags to be drawn for on Oct 31st!!

Congratulations to Dusti Smith who is the Peoria Journal Star Athlete of the Week! Dusti’s finish at LTC Conference last week was the second fastest time ever at Finals.

Informational meeting

October 15th, Wednesday, at 8:45 (homeroom?) in the cafeteria.

Anyone interested should attend this meeting. And, NO, you do not have to be an athlete, any and all can attend. 9-12th graders.

The Junior High Student Council Officers will be meeting on Wednesday during Pride Time in Mrs. Acree's room. If you received an email about this meeting- PLEASE ATTEND!

Students! This Wednesday is a PINK OUT! Dress in Pink from Head to Toe and donate $1 in your Advisory! Join us for our Volley for the Cure night at the Volleyball Game and support the Lady Rebels and the Susan G. Komen Foundation!

To any junior high or high school student that had an interest in Art club-- please come by the art room this week for a parent permission form. We will start the first Monday in November from 3pm-4pm.

Don't forget to stop in room 222 if you have any questions or need help getting started or completing your college applications.

Congratulations to the JH Girls XC team for winning 1st place at sectionals on Saturday! They are the first junior high team to get to compete at state! Congratulations to all who ran and achieved new Personal Bests - way to go!

Please note details for HS Parking this school year. Students will not be allowed to park on Franklin St. or Prairie Ave. Additional parking is available in the additional HS lot and the new JH lot.
